Services

Four fields. One crew.

Strategy, software, AI, and compliance are not four departments handing your problem to each other. At Mossburgh the people who draw the plan are the people who build it and the people who answer for it. Most engagements cross more than one field, that’s the point.

Strategy & leadership

The thinking before the building.

A technology chief on your team without the full-time hire, the industry calls it a fractional CTO. Most technology problems are priority problems, communication problems, or timing problems wearing a technical costume. We help you see the difference, then act on it, in the room, at the table, on the diligence call.

What this includes

  • Fractional CTO partnership
  • Architecture reviews and technology roadmaps
  • Vendor evaluation and the quotes worth pushing back on
  • Technical due diligence, on either side of the table
  • Hiring plans and engineering team mentorship
  • Cloud, infrastructure, and budget strategy

Production software

The real thing, shipped.

We build production systems, not prototypes handed to a team that disappears. Web applications, platforms, internal tools, and the APIs other systems depend on, built inside the context of your business. When something ships, it ships ready. Not ready-ish.

What this includes

  • Web application and platform development
  • Websites built to convert, not just exist
  • MVP design and rapid prototyping
  • Platform modernization that preserves what works
  • API design and integration
  • Performance and infrastructure work

AI engineering

Built into the product. Stood behind.

When AI belongs in your product, we are the crew that builds it there. LLM integrations, automation, and the data pipelines beneath them, engineered into what you already run, with the evals and guardrails that make them safe to ship. Built by us, stood behind by us, in production.

How it runs

Scope the buildShip the integrationStand behind it

What this includes

  • LLM integration into existing products
  • Workflow automation where hours are actually lost
  • Data pipelines that feed it all
  • Evals and guardrails before launch
  • Honest measurement after launch

Compliance

Build it. Pass the audit.

Compliance at Mossburgh is not a service bolted on at the end. It is a property of the software we ship. The section below is the whole story.

Compliance

Policies don’t pass audits. Software does.

Compliance shops hand you a binder of policies and a wish. Mossburgh ships you working software with the controls already in it, then walks it through the audit with you. One crew builds the product and passes the audit, so there is no gap between who built the system and who answers for it.

Any framework, through Vanta.

Mossburgh is a Vanta partner. SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001, or whatever framework your buyers and regulators name, we run the program on Vanta, wire the evidence collection into your actual infrastructure, and keep it continuous instead of a once-a-year scramble.

Auditors, alongside.

We work with audit firms directly. We prepare the evidence they actually ask for, sit in on the calls, and translate auditor to engineer in both directions until the report is signed.

Our own posture, public.

We hold ourselves to the standard we sell. Anyone can inspect our posture without asking, any time. Visit the Trust Center

Sound familiar

We don’t sort by industry. We sort by situation.

Every engagement starts with where you actually are. Find yourself below.

Situation 01Strategy & leadership

Our CTO left and nobody knows what our own codebase does.

More common than you’d think. We audit the architecture, deployment, dependencies, and security, then give you a plain-English map of where you stand. Then we figure out together whether you need a new CTO or just a better system.

Situation 02Strategy & leadership

We’re making technology decisions without a technical voice in the room.

You know technology could help but you’re not sure where to invest or who to trust with the call. A fractional CTO joins your team, brings the roadmap and the architecture, and takes the vendor meetings with you.

Situation 03Strategy & leadership

A vendor quoted us $40k and we can’t tell if it’s fair.

Send us the SOW. We’ll tell you whether the scope matches the price, and whether you actually need half of what they’re proposing. You usually don’t.

Situation 04Strategy & leadership

We got a term sheet and the diligence list is asking about our infrastructure.

We’ve walked companies through technical diligence before. We draft the answers with you, fix what needs fixing before anyone looks, and sit in on the call if it helps.

Situation 05Production software

We’re growing fast and the systems are starting to strain.

What got you here won’t get you there. We rework the architecture so it scales, shore up the infrastructure so it holds, and stay alongside while it happens.

Situation 06AI engineering

We know what we want AI to do. It just isn’t shipped.

The gap between a promising demo and a feature customers touch is engineering. We build the integration into your product, wire the pipelines and guardrails around it, and run it in production like everything else we ship.

Situation 07Compliance

A customer just asked for our SOC 2 and we don’t have one.

The deal-blocker version of compliance. We stand up the program on Vanta, build or fix whatever the controls require, and work with the audit firm until the report is in your data room.

Situation 08Strategy & leadership

We just need someone technical in our corner.

Not a full IT department, one crew you can call who actually knows your setup. An ongoing partnership with people who know your stack, your team, and pick up when you call.

Every situation above is a real one. If yours isn’t listed, it’s probably terrain we’ve walked anyway.

Ready to start

Not sure which field you’re standing in?

That’s normal, most problems arrive unlabeled. Thirty minutes is usually enough to name the terrain and tell you what it would take.
